Hi, I’m Holly!
RRCA Certified Endurance Running Coach

Welcome to Reflections of a Runner! This page is dedicated to sharing my perspective on life from the lens of a runner, coach, wife, mom, friend, individual, fill-in-the-blank identity.
My name is Holly and I am from the lovely heartland, Ohio where I live with my husband, Mike and our son, Brooks. I have two step-sons, two dogs, and two cats. We have a full house and wouldn’t want it any other way!
I have been a “runner” most of my life but did not always consider myself to be (more on that later). In 2014 I got the itch to tackle a half marathon and have been hooked on endurance sports ever since! Along the road of my running career (pun intended), I started to draw many parallels between running, training, and life…and so, Reflections of a Runner was born!
I have experienced loss, the end of a marriage, starting over in life, and hardship. But I have also experienced love, joy, passion, and great success! Through all of it, running has been my constant. It never judges when I take a break and always welcomes me back when I need it.
Follow along for tips on running, reflections on life, and a good pun or two! Have a story you want to share? I’d love to connect with you!
Happy running, reading, and reflecting!
